Situated on the waterfront, Brooklyn Army Terminal is easily accessible—by ferry, train, bus, and car—from Manhattan and the other boroughs, and from major highways and metro-area airports.

TRANSPORTATION & ACCESS

BY FERRY
Catch the NYC Ferry’s South Brooklyn or Rockaway routes to Sunset Park and step right onto our campus.

BY SUBWAY
Ride the N or R lines to 59th Street in Brooklyn. Exit at 58th Street and head toward the waterfront to our campus.

BY BUS
Take B11 to 58th Street and 1st Avenue, or B37 to 58th Street and 3rd Avenue. From there it’s a short walk west through Sunset Park.

Complimentary parking at Pier 4 for all visitors and NYC Ferry riders. Availability may be limited during special events or pier closures.

PUBLIC SPACES

Brooklyn Army Terminal's public spaces are open 365 days a year, sunrise to sunset. Whether you're coming to gaze at the atrium, take a historical tour, attend an event, or picnic or stroll on the waterfront, Brooklyn Army Terminal is open to you.

Walk along the waterfront down the promenade and out Pier 4. Public access is maintained along the north edge of Pier 4 and fishing is allowed.
